These Terms of Service govern your relationship with Skandia Northwest Manufacturing when you use our RV repair services or visit our website. Please read these terms carefully before using our services.
Acceptance of Terms
By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.
Services Description
Skandia Northwest Manufacturing provides professional RV repair and maintenance services, including but not limited to:
- Engine repair and diagnostics
- Electrical system troubleshooting and repair
- Plumbing system maintenance and repair
- Roof repair and maintenance
- Interior restoration and modification
- Slide-out system repair and maintenance
- Appliance repair and service
Service Estimates and Authorization
Before beginning any work, we will provide you with a written estimate. Work will not commence without your written or verbal authorization. Additional repairs discovered during service will require separate authorization before proceeding.
Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made in writing
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
- A service charge may be applied to returned checks
- Unpaid balances may be subject to interest charges and collection costs
- We retain the right to hold your RV until payment is received in full
Warranties
Labor Warranty
We provide a 12-month warranty on our labor and workmanship. This warranty covers defects in our work but does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused by external factors.
Parts Warranty
Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will assist in warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer defects or warranty limitations.
Warranty Limitations
Warranties do not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or neglect
- Normal wear and tear
- Modifications made by others after our service
- Damage from environmental factors
- Consequential or indirect damages
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your RV and its issues
- Remove all personal items from your RV before service
- Ensure your RV is clean and accessible for service
- Provide necessary keys, manuals, and access codes
- Notify us of any hazardous materials or conditions
- Pay for services according to agreed terms
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- Loss of use, time, or inconvenience
- Damage to personal items left in your RV
- Pre-existing conditions not disclosed or discoverable
- Damages exceeding the amount paid for our services
Storage and Liability
While your RV is in our possession:
- We will exercise reasonable care in handling your RV
- We are not responsible for theft, vandalism, or acts of nature
- Storage fees may apply for RVs left beyond agreed pickup dates
- We recommend maintaining your insurance coverage during service
- RVs left for extended periods may be subject to lien laws
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through:
- Direct Communication: We encourage direct discussion to resolve issues
- Mediation: If needed, we agree to participate in mediation
- Arbitration: Final disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration
- Jurisdiction: All legal matters will be governed by Washington State law
Cancellation Policy
- Service appointments may be cancelled with 24 hours notice
- Work in progress may be subject to charges for completed portions
- Special orders or custom parts may not be refundable
- Diagnostic fees are non-refundable once work begins
